Located inside select Publix stores, these vehicle registration renewal kiosks let you take care of your tag renewal while you're already out shopping - no lines, no appointments, and available during regular store hours, including evenings and weekends.

What you need
To renew at the kiosk, bring:
- Your registration renewal notice with the PIN, or
- Your license plate number
- The date of birth of the first registered owner
- A credit or debit card for payment. Kiosks do not accept cash or check.
Who can use the kiosk
All Florida residents may use this service as long as the renewal meets these requirements:
- No new license plate is required
- No vessels, mobile homes, or personalized plates
- No suspensions related to insurance, driver license, or toll violations
- No need to file a Florida Certificate of Insurance or IRS Form 2290
Not eligible for kiosk renewal
The following registrations cannot be processed at the kiosk:
- Boats
- Government vehicles
- IRP (International Registration Plan) vehicles
- Mobile homes
- Personalized plates
- Autonomous vehicles
- National Guard plates
- Parking permits or disability placards
Additional fee for kiosk transactions
Please note: A $4.50 service fee is added to each kiosk renewal. A 2.3% credit card fee also is applied. These fees are collected by the vendor that operates and maintains the kiosk system, not by the Tax Collector's Office. It helps cover the cost of providing this fast, self-service option in convenient retail locations.
Even though fees are applied, many customers find the added convenience - especially the ability to renew outside of regular business hours - well worth it.
